1. Is the tour Hop on, Hop off? / Can we get off and get on at certain points along the route?

Our bus tours are not Hop on, Hop off, i.e. the tour is continuous without stops to get off. Nevertheless, the buses stop for a few moments at certain landmarks to take beautiful pictures!

2. From where do the buses leave ?

The starting point and return point is at the Tourist Office, 12 cours du XXX Juillet.

3. What happens in the case of rain?

An electric cover (Visiotour bus) or a transparent canopy (cabriolet bus) can be unrolled on the roof in the event of rain or of heat, at the initiative of the driver. Nevertheless, we advise you to also wear clothing adapted to that day’s weather.

4.Is it advisable to book in advance?

There are no reservations as such. To ensure your spot in advance, you must buy your ticket in advance, at our kiosk located allées de Tourny (next to a carousel)

5.  Are dogs allowed on board?

Yes, you can come with your dog, kept on a leash, of course.

6. Are tickets redeemable / refundable if I am mistaken or change my mind?

As stated in our General Conditions of Sale, the tickets are not exchangeable nor refundable.

7. Can I resell my ticket?

No, tickets cannot be resold.

8. In the Practical Info section, it says “Minimum 8 people” or “Minimum 5 people”; does this mean that you must buy 5 or 8 places minimum?

No, this means that at least 8 people in total are required (for the Visiotour) or 5 people in total (for the Authentic Tour) to start the tour. But you are free to buy only the number of seats you want.

9. What happens if I buy a ticket on the website and the tour does not start?

If the total minimum number of people is not met for the tour to start (i.e. 8 people on the Bordeaux Visiotour and 5 people on the Bordeaux Authentic Tour), we can offer you a visit at another time, or you may request a refund for the ticket.

10. I bought a City Pass at the Tourist Office and I wish to reserve my place on the Visiotour, is this possible?

The visit of Bordeaux Visiotour is included in the purchase of a City Pass, but there are no reservations possible because you are free to choose the time of your tour in your 1- or 3-day City Pass.

11. Is there a toilet aboard the buses?

No, our buses are not equipped with toilets.

12. What means of payment are accepted for the Bordeaux Visiotour bus?

We accept Visa and American Express credit cards, holiday vouchers, and cash. We do not accept bank checks.

13. What is the best place to park if I come by car?

The nearest parking lot is the parking Tourny, located on Allées de Tourny.

14. Is it an in-person guide who hosts the tour?

No, the tour is audio-guided through individual headphones. The comments have been written by an Art Historian guide and are narrated by a professional comedian.
